At PT Glazing, we don’t typically do case studies on single-door installations, but this project was an exception due to the bold design choices and premium product selection. Our client, based in South Lanarkshire, Glasgow, had old timber doors at both the front and back of their home. They wanted to replace them with something that was:
• Maintenance free
• High energy-efficiency
• Solid and secure
• A true statement piece for the front entrance
To meet these needs, we recommended our most premium composite door – the Palladio Door for the front and a fully reinforced VEKA German-engineered door for the back.

Back Door Selection
For the back door, the client wanted a full-glass door but needed adjustable privacy. To achieve this, we proposed a VEKA fully reinforced German-engineered uPVC door with integral blinds featuring a manual control system—allowing for easy light and privacy adjustments.

Installation and Final Outcome
